Table of 6 Recap

Thank you to the GRYP members who attended the FIRST “Table of 6” Event on Wednesday, May 12th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Carls O’Kelly’s. For being the first of this event there was a great turn out of 6 tables! After a short introduction to the series we started out finding the table you were assigned to, ordering dinner and letting the conversations flow. The smaller atmosphere and great food were a wonderful combination to get to know fellow GRYP members. This event will be quarterly and will be at a different location everytime to experience more of what Grand Rapids has to offer. Thanks for making the start of this series a success!

GRAM Tour Recap

The Grand Rapids Arts Musuem invited GRYP for a special evening to view the opening of their Art in Bloom weekend. It featured floral designs from the region's best designers, and some of the designs were inspired, and even some mimiced, the architecture or piece of work next to their piece! Local artist and Volunteer Council President, chris Overvoorde, gave us a personal 1-hour tour of the museum. He gave us some insight on the pieces that most of us wouldn't have known. He was a great asset to our experierence at GRAM. Thank you Chris; you were fantastic! Thank you to Lisa Shaw, of The Bigger Picture Photography LLC, for taking photos at the GRAM.
