Thank you to everyone who attended the March Madness Unwind at Ritz Koney. Although the crowd was a bit smaller than usual, with just over 50 in attendance, it allowed for our members to have more one-on-one time with each other.

A special thanks to Ritz Koney for hosting our Unwind and for donating 20% of sales back to GRYP! We hope that you enjoyed the location and great service. Although they have some amazing hot dogs, it was great to realize that they have a wonderful bar and lots of TV’s to watch any sporting event as well.

Don’t forget about the next Unwind, April 29th, at McFadden’s on the 3rd floor, for our Get Involved Expo!

Thank you to the GRYP volunteers that took part in the Kids Food Basket event on Saturday, March 20! We had about 18 volunteers who gave a couple hours of their time to help Kids Food Basket prepare items to be included in their sack suppers. The Kids Food Basket staff was extremely appreciative of all we did for them – saying GRYP rocks!! In addition, to the volunteer event, GRYP also raised money for Kids Food Basket at the February Unwind. Thanks to the generous donations of our members, we were able to raise $180! KFB will use that money to buy food for the sack suppers at a significantly reduced rate, which lets them buy much more food for the money. So, thanks again to those who participated and/or donated money!

Thank you to everyone who attended the February Unwind at San Chez. Over 130 young professionals participated in the evening’s networking activity – 1 Card Draw! This activity was an opportunity for members to diversify their contact-base by “searching out” the owner of the business card drawn from the bag, while meeting other members along the way. The evening proved to have more of a mingling atmosphere, that many members enjoyed. GRYP also collected $180 toward Kids Food Basket, along with a drawing for GR Griffins tickets from the list of contributors.

A special thanks to San Chez for opening up their beautiful 3rd floor loft and providing amazing service. It is the generosity of establishments such as San Chez that allows GRYP to offer free networking events for our members.

Thank you to everyone who attended the New Members Informational Meeting on Tuesday, February 16th at the RockFire Grille on East Paris. Being our first event for this, we didn't know what to expect... 120 people was such a great turn-out! During the meeting, each Board Member talked about the different committees that exist, what GRYP has to offer, and how each person can get more involved. After the informational meeting, we were able to spend time networking with one another. GRYP will be having a few of these New Members Informational Meetings each year so please stay tuned for future dates if you missed this one!
